Karachi, Two persons died and at least 50 others were injured after a passenger bus overturned near Dhabeji at national highway on Friday, Edhi sources said.
The incident occurred when a passenger bus bearing number plate PA-0053 coming from Badin to Karachi turned turtle while trying to save a motorcycle coming from opposite side.
The injured were rushed to nearby hospital by volunteers of Edhi Ambulance Service while one severely injured Abdul Shakoor in his early twenties was rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where he succumbed to his injuries.
Initially another severely injured 24-year-old Hidayatulla also died and his body was sent to his native village Mirpur Sakro.
The injured included Allah Bakhsh, 25, Shakor, 35, Abdul Karim, 40, Watayo, 27, Jameel 28, Imam Bakhsh, 30, Ghulam Haider, 50, Ali Bakhsh, 30, M Shareef, 30, Jameel, 32, Akhtar, 30,Mula Bakhsh 25, Waqas, 20, Jamal, 50, Usman 30, Humaisha Ali, 20, Hameed 23, Mehmood, 30, Hanif, 30, and Khan Muhammad.
