Karachi : The Housing, Town Planning and Local Government Department has cancelled the promotions of officers of City District Government Karachi from BPS18 to BPS19 made from the year 2001 to 2011 under Section197 of Removal of Difficulty of Sindh Local Government Ordinace 2001.
A Sindh government handout said the promotions were made without approval of competent authority and observation of codal formalities.
