Islamabad : Acting President Farooq H. Naek on Tuesday said that present government is continuing the policy of political reconciliation to resolve the issues confronted by the country.
He was addressing the National Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) Conference organized by the National Seerat Council. Naek said the government is taking forward Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto’s policy of reconciliation to end racial discrimination, prejudices and riots.
He said that Pakistan is passing through a critical phase and heavy responsibility lies on the Ulema that they should give the lesson of Islamic unity, love and brotherhood. Success of `Sulah Hudaibiya’ and `Fateh Makkah’ were the glorious examples of reconciliatory approach adopted by Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), he said.
