Karachi : President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday directed to chalk out comprehensive plan and strategy for optimum usage of flood water for irrigation.
Addressing high level meeting at Bilawal House here which reviewed proposal for conserving flood water in natural streams, he also directed for expediting issuance of Pakistan Cards to flood affected families.
Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah & Irrigation Minister gave suggestions on quick rehabilitation of flood affected people in the province. President Zardari’s daughter Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari also attended meeting.
